It invites courage\, tenderness\, and connection. It reminds us that we can’t face violence alone — we must face it together. \n  \nWhy This Story Matters \nWe live in a world where violence feels constant and connection feels rare. Weighting the Wait dares to imagine something different: a circle of mothers standing in grief and hope\, calling us to listen\, to care\, and to act. It’s not just a play — it’s a model for how communities can resist despair and rebuild through love. \n  \nCommunity & Collaboration \nThis production is built in partnership with the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute\, an organization that supports survivors of homicide and promotes peace\, justice\, and healing in Boston.
